Origionally formed as a three piece in 2002, by Dan Parker, Laurence Blackler and Tim Gregory, fuseing funk and jazz drumming with rock and metal riffing.
DeTONAL STATE has since evolved; after the first recording "Media Cattle" they were joined by the addition of Mark Leary on Guitar in time to record the much heavier second ep "CTRL, Cult Delete". Then, disaster struck with the band losing first Tim (replaced by Adam 'froggy' Froggot on drums,) then Laurence who was replaced by Leigh Edlin on vox and Carl Maltby on bass.
This new heavier band still has its story to write but so far things are getting heavier and stronger.
