Situated in the historic Cathedral City of Lincoln, The Jolly Brewer has been firmly dug into history as a culturally diverse, extraordinary place for people from all over the world to come, meet and express themselves.
The Jolly Brewer boasts many attractive features, and has a strong local customer base. There is plenty of good music, both on the jukebox and through live performances, of which there are at least two every week - sometimes more.
Every wednesday the pub plays hosty to a highly successful open mic night - all singer/songwriters are welcome. Hosted by Bob Cairns, and sponsored by Music Makers, the night is going from strength to strength. It is lucky that the new licensing hours have been passed, as otherwise we'd have no hope of showcasing the amount of performers that come to play.
The pub is run by a quirky, individual bunch of friendly, helpful staff that are always up for a laugh. We serve an impressive and growing list of Real Ales, authentic hand-pulled ciders, and have been featured in the good beer guide numerous times.
